| The last National Children's Choir concerts took place in
May and June 2009. The children in 5th and 6th class sang
in a concert in St Canice's Cathedral. 18 of the children
were selected to go to Dublin to sing in the National
Concert Hall. 6 Dutch children came to our school to sing
with the children going to Dublin. These Dutch children
came from the schools in the Netherlands which are involved
in the Comenius
Project with us They lived for the week with children
from our school ,attending class here and then travelled
to Dublin with us.Here is a photo of our group, including
the Dutch, resting after a practice of the repertoire |
