Christmas is a wonderful time in St Canice's School The whole school participates in a Christmas
Carol Service in the Community Hall where everyone of the 500 plus children is involved. Then we are very lucky that Santa finds time from his busy schedule to visit the children from Junior Infants to second class and sometimes third and brings them a treat for Christmas. Teachers put on individual Christmas plays(See
Ms Sheehan's and
Ms O'Leary's)in their classrooms to which they invite other classes. We also have a parish Carol Service in our local Church where the children play and sing and even the staff choir makes an appearance.
