St. James Park
St. Canices 5-7 C.B.S. 1-1
Blake’s 4 goals sink C.B.S.

In the continuing spell of marvellous weather, we met our local rivals C.B.S. in the Roinn C league yesterday. The game was well contested throughout, with the half time score at 1-5 to 1-0.
A few positional changes today from our successful trip to Gaelscoil earlier in the week didn’t upset the balance of the team. There was lots of fine hurling again today.
Highlights:
Superb catch and clearance from full back Kieran Galvin in the first half.
Dependable play by our number 1 David Campion
Kevin Walsh outstanding at wing back
Tireless Philip at midfield
Four great goals for Blake Smith at centre forward.
High standard from all 8 subs when brought on.D Campion
