The All-Ireland Credit Union Final 2010

A great day was had by all competitors taking part in the All-Ireland Credit Union Final in the RDS on Sunday April 18th 2010.  We felt honoured to be among the last 100 schools, from all over Ireland, to qualify for the finals of this very prestigious competition.  The President of the ILCU, Mr. Mark Bailey, congratulated all the children on reaching the last 400 out of a phenomenal 25,000 pupils who took part in the earlier rounds.  Our senior team, made up of Marie Therese Boland, Eimear Conroy, Seán Foley and Peter Lynch did us proud on the day.  They finished 18th in a very competitive final.  They received rug sacks filled with goodies from the Credit Union. We look forward to next year when hopefully some more of our pupils will continue in the footsteps of Peter, Seán, Eimear and Marie Therese.Senior A team
