Web Site
There were several access problems with our old website so Mr Nolan has re vamped and updated our web site on a new address. This address is www.stcanices.net. The new school e-mail address is mail@stcanices.net.  All our activities from this past term are to be seen on the website. It also features class photos and is well worth a visit.

Lost  Property

There are at least 50 coats in the Lost Property room plus other uniform items etc. Please ensure that you check for any lost items by Friday 26th as all remaining goods will be donated to charity during the Midterm.

Mission Money
€1300 was raised for the Niall Mellon Foundation. This has been given to Liam Heffernan who will be travelling to South Africa with the Kilkenny Group in November. Thanks to all who contributed to the No-Uniform day.
Shoe box leaflets have all been given out. Filled boxes are arriving already. Closing date as above.

Fund Raising
Our final Silver Circle draw was held today. A total of  €12,020  was raised. This is our biggest fund raiser of the year so mile buiochas to everyone who contributed so generously. Full list of winners on website.

Head Lice
Some classes are reporting severe problems with head lice. Please check your child’s head regularly and take appropriate action if you find head lice or nits.

Sport
Gaelic
For the first time this year, two teams were entered in the Boys Primary Schools’ League. Our B panel  finished 3rd in their section after a great win over Danesfort. Unfortunately, only the top two teams qualify for the semi-finals. Well done to all for a great campaign and I’m sure most of these players will be featuring again in the future. Our A panel have qualified for their semi-final and this will be played after Halloween. Best of luck to them. Thanks to Mr Hanrick, Mr Crowley, Mr Hoyne and  Mr Lennon for their work in coaching these teams.
