On the 15th December 2003 we raised our first green flag which our school was awarded . There were many dignitaries at the ceremony including Bishop Forrestal, the Mayor of Kilkenny Pat Crotty, many City fathers and members of the County Council.The ceremony was introduced by Fr Kieron Kennedy, then Chairman BOM. Afterwards the children had parties in their rooms while the invited guests were given some refreshments.A great day was had by all.
