Nuala Carey's Visit:

She came because of the Avonmore Competition

We prepared some questions and recorded some weather by using a compass to see where the wind came from. We caught rain in a special instrument and we used a thermometer to get the temperature

She told us about the competition and the weather such as Hurricane Charlie and she also told us that Kilkenny made history to be the first county to be higher than other countries like Spain or France at 33.3C. She was very funny and very, very nice. She sang a bit of 'Nine to Five' and also drew a goodish Ireland and weather forecasted a make-believe forecast. Since she said a school in Waterford sais they were better than us, we asked we asked her to give them a hurricane, a tornado, rain, a storm and hailstones, so that's what she did. It was like she was really on TV She gave everyone her autograph and so did her Mam. A photographer took photos and took our names. It was great fun. We all enjoyed Nuala Carey's visit
